I have ridden this coaster both forwards and backwards...It would be a great loss if Carowinds were to tear it down!

Please keep thunder road! That was my first roller coaster ride and I've been able to share the fun and excitement with 3 of my 5 children. I was hoping one day for all of us to take a family ride!

This is one of the classic rides at Carowinds. Removing this ride will leave this park devoid of any its personality... just another lifeless park that can only exist by desperately trying to push the envelope in "amusement thrills". Cedar Fair is truly trying to suck the last bit of enjoyment from this historic park. It would be better to close down and build apartments there than to take this ride down. If nothing else will suit them, then please, sell the ride to someone who cares about a saving a unique NC/SC experience.

One of the best wooden coaster's out there, I would hate to see it go for water park expansions. Hurler does not compare to this classic coaster.

Please do not get Rid of Thunder Road Roller coaster! My family and I will be devistated! I'm 35 year's of age & my mom & father used to ride Thunder Road back in the day! It's a Legendary Roller Coaster that's been a Historical Part of Carowinds & forever will be!

So many childhood memories on Thunder Road! Everyone needs to be able to experience a wooden roller coaster ride! So sad that this awesome ride will be laid to rest!

I loved this ride, my kids loved this ride, my grandkids are enjoying this ride and i certainly hope my great grandkids can enjoys one of the pleasures i enjoyed in my earlier years. Please don't tear it down.
