Not everyone can handle the loops and jerks. This is a great ride and an enjoyable for those that love the thrill of a roller coaster but can't handle all the flipping and outrageous heights.

carowinds has enough financial stability and should go out beyond the new Fury ride and expand that way.... Why get rid of a piece of history to make room for more attractions and not disclose future plans.... All great theme parks have an older respectable wooden coaster.... This one doesn't compare to the Hurler either so save this one and expand elsewhere

Carowinds has plenty of room to expand even without demolishing Thunder Road. This is a classic woodie that deserves to continue to thrill riders.

One of my first jobs at 15 years old. At minimum they should convert it to one of those hybrid wood/steel coasters.
