Save Thunder Road, it is an icon of Carowinds. If you want to take down a coaster look towards the Carolina Cyclone.

I love thunder road. My 1st roller coaster experience was gold rusher. But then tried thunder road and was hooked beyond words. Passed this love for it to my daughter as well. Carowinds would not be the same without it. PLEASE SAVE THIS ROLLER COASTER. Wooden coasters are a breed of their own.

I have ridden wooden coasters at many different parks. While the steel coasters are fasters and higher, many lack the character that wooden coasters give. There nothing like waiting to get on a wooden coasters and hearing the creaks and cracks, the moans and groans from the wood (and the people). Closing Thunder Road, and other wooden coasters, for the new slick rides do a disservice to the people Carowinds claim they listen to and serve.

Take away the hurler. That coaster always sends me to the doctor for neck issues. My family and I won't even ride it anymore. But I love thunder road.

This is always been my favorite coaster since I was little! It's the foster that goes on both sides of the state and I would always ride this coaster about 6 sides and keep switching sides! Please don't tear it down

Thunder Road is iconic! If you want to get rid of a roller coaster, get rid of the hurler (my twin 11 year old daughters' words and I totally agree)!

Thunder road was the first coaster I road in my life, its not just a ride or attraction it's a peice of history.. Whether forwards or backwards it still is and will always be the best coaster around....
I only went for this ride. Now I'll never go back
