Save Thunder Road! Loved this coaster growing up, and still love it now! It's a thriller that's a classic.

One of my favorite rides at the park. A true classic. Don't tear it down (unless it gets the Twisted Colossus treatment). Otherwise, "Grit your teeth, Bear the load, enjoy your ride on Thunder Road!"

Please keep Thunder Road that ride has been one of my top best rides. I would ride it more than any of them new rides!!!!

Growing up in the area and being a season pass holder for many years, I've seen the numerous changes made to Carowinds over the past 25 years. Some of the changes were welcome improvements, some not so much, but in both cases several park icons were demolished. There are only a few "original" park icons left. Thunder Road is one that deserves to be saved. It has helped shape Carowinds into what it is today, is a piece of living history, and offers an experience no other ride in the park can. Save Thunder Road!
