I don't want Carowinds to lose a coaster after already getting one

Why do we have to tear everything down? It is the last wooden rollercoaster. It is a Classic! It does not sling your head around so bad that your neck hurts. Please keep Thunder Road!

I know that you have pretty much already made the decision, but this is an iconic landmark and a flashback to the great times of the past. This coaster is very important to the park and is one of the top 5 in the park is completely unfair. This is a great coaster and the fact that it is probably being taken down for some waterslides... These better be some record breaking waterslides is all I'm saying.

To replace should a coaster (that's a nostalgic ride) and build a water park of all things is ludicrous.

I have written this roller coaster since I was a little girl! Closing this ride would mean taking away a classic from the park. Many people come to the park to enjoy the classics as well as the new rides. Actually, we often times we make our way to the classics before riding the newer rides. It's a way of sharing the past with present friends and family. Please keep it open!

Thunder Road is a classic coaster. It's been around for almost thirty years! Thunder Road is the only coaster in the country that races between two states. Many people have amazing memories about Thunder Road, and now many people are never going to have these memories.

Some of my best childhood memories were made riding this iconic coaster 35 years ago. Still my favorite of all times!!
