I agree that the ride is very shakey and rough to ride I think they should restore it to its original glory not take it down

Thunder road was the first roller coaster I have ever rode. But it's also one of my favorites!

I'm against tearing down classic wood coasters.

Tearing down Thunder Road is like tearing down Carowinds. Without Thunder Road there is no Carowinds!
When Thunder Road was built, I was too short to ride it and it took several years before I could ride it but once I could you couldn't keep me off of it.

Thunder Road was the first out of three first roller coasters in carowinds that I road for the first time. It was terrifying and accelerating. I loved every moment of it. Every time I come to carowinds I look forward to riding Thunder Road it is and has akways been my favorite roller coaster at carowinds. Thunder Road was the first ride I kept my eyes open all the way through it was the first ride that I felt comfortable in sticking my hands up in the air. In the end Thunder Road was/is a big part of carowinds. It is part of its heart and soul. You can not give up on a ride like thunder road.

It was my first coaster ride! I still love it all these years later! It's a Carowinds icon and I don't want to see it go! There is plenty enough land to build new without taking down the things we love! Example: the old timy cars!

This is a classic! It's two-state siting is unusual. This coaster could be promoted and given new life to a lot of fresh, young riders!

Save Thunder Road! I think Thunder Road should not shut down because it is the only one that separates the north and south Carolinas. I am 8 and love Thunder Road. #SaveThunderRoad

i dont go to carowinds, but at kings dominion we have rebel yell, and i cant imagine losing rebel yell in a million years, i hope you guys win your fight to save your iconic thunder road
