Thunder Road is an important coaster. Cedar Fair did the wrong thing by abandoning the Big Dipper at Geauga Lake. Now they are going to make people more angry by destroying a classic that means a lot to enthusiasts.

I am signing this petition because I feel it is unfair and wrong for Cedar Fair to close and tear down such an iconic piece of Carowinds history! What they are planning to do is a direct slap in the face of the great people of the Carolina's! How dare you Cedar Fair to come in and destroy our beloved wooden coaster that has given us excitement and joy as we glide across the state lines of the beautiful Carolina's! You are taking away our identiy and what makes Carowinds unique. Thanks a lot for destroying the one thing both NC and SC could share together and have so much pride in!

Even though I may have rode this roller coaster once, I don't want this ride permanently removed! Like many other have said, Thunder Road is a crucial part of Carowinds' history, as it is the only coaster in the entire park to travel through both North and South Carolina. Carowinds is making a huge mistake here, as the only reason they want to remove this rollercoaster's existence is most likely to expand Boomerang Bay. Please keep Thunder Road, Carowinds!

This is the first adult coaster i ever road.i worked at the park a few seasons amd got to work on it a few times after i turned 18. I completely love the wooden coasters, i think it would be a shame to loose the for a metal one.
