Love that ride since I was little now my kids love to ride it with me can't take it down.

please don't retire Thunder Road! I (along with my husband) were both born and raised here and it was both our first roller coasters ever that we rode! Then finally this year our two sons were tall enough to ride it and we were so excited to share this memory with them! We bought season passes this year and everything! We took them last week and I am pleased to say they fell in love with Thunder Road!!! Please don't take this away from our family and the community who all love it!!! This roller coaster is a monument at Carowinds! When u say Carowinds everyone thinks "Thunder Road"! It would really disappoint me if Carowinds did this all due to an "expansion" for the park! What about just listening to your valued customers and true Carolinains who actually give a crap about your park!!! For once it would be nice if "us" the people could make a difference and stop you (Carowinds) from taking this from us. Ok sorry rant over!

For the love of God no, I don't want to lose this coaster, it's a Carolina Icon, and one of the biggest parts of my childhood, please reconsider Carowinds!

Im a native of Charlotte NC. I went on my first date with my high school sweet heart at Carowinds and rode Thunder Road its our favorite ride in the park. We have been married 26 years and go every year and both of our kids have been raised riding Thunder Road. It will truley be missed.

I say KEEP THUNDER ROAD because it's a signature ride at Carowinds! So many people have ridden it for so long, and it brings back wonderful memories to many. It disappoints me that they would take away such a great ride. It's also a great family-geared ride, whereas many of the more advanced/thrill type roller coasters are not enjoyable to little ones. It is also good for people who are scared of roller coasters because it provides a more slow-moving coaster, vs. 95 mph. I really hope Carowinds keeps Thunder Road. Thanks!

Thunder road is also one of my favorite rides and one of the very first ones I rode so to taking it away would be like destroying precious memories

Don't shut it down just remodel it I get on it and it's so bumpy due it being old it just needs a remodel
