This is the worst thing I have ever heard. I still remember the first time me and my little sister rode this ride together. She had just gotten tall enough to ride it because it was the shortest requirement of the "big rides". Well of course she rode it with mommy first but then me. That is a memory I will never forget, if carowinds shuts this ride down I will not be back for a long time.

This ride is a part of history. You can do repairs to it but please dont take it down!!! Carowinds will not be the same without it.

I look forward to riding Thunder Road every time we go. I've been riding it for over 30 years, it needs to stay. It's an iconic part of Carowinds heritage. It was bad enough when they retired White Lightning, what's next, Afterburn?

It will absolutely break my heart if they really tear down this ride. Me and my sister have ridden this ride many times and therefore is my favorite. I have so many fond memories and if they tore it down I would definitely not be back for a while, and would never look at the park the same.

rhis was my first big roller coaster that I got ride when I was six years old and now I'm 37 I got to ride it with my mom and grandfather I will always remember that memory I have a son who is 9 years old and lack riding it for his height he is about 1 1/2 inches too short and since your are trying this ride will not get a chance to ride with my son and create that memory with him and he would be the fourth generation to ride but now yall have crushed that for me. And yall are punishing both of us because of his height
