I've been riding this coaster for 20 years, please don't tear it down. Take out the hurler instead

Sace thunder road!! This ride is so iconic and has been around for so long! Everyone loves this ride, id hate to grow up riding on it and then have it torn down before my own future children have a chmace to ride it... this os a great ride and i, along with many others, hate to dee it go!

I go to Carowinds probably 20 times a year and ride it every time. If you go to Carowinds and don't ride Thunder Road, you never really went to Carowinds. #SAVETHUNDERROAD

Is it still safe? Must be expensive to maintain.
Love the ride but bottom line is, wooden roller coasters are going way of the Do-Do Bird

If Thunder Road ain't family fun I don't know what is. Gotta get rid of something? The Hurler it is. Thunder Road IS Carowinds! I've probably taken 1000 rides on it and it's still the first ride I hit when I come to the park. If they kill Thunder Road they kill the spirit of Carowinds.

ThunderRoad was the very first roller coaster I ever rode. I was 7, my dad got sick and threw up on mom. It has always been my very favorite! I made sure it was my kids first coaster to. Now they love ThunderRoad too! We really want ThunderRoad to be there for our families next generation too!!! Please save ThunderRoad!!!

This coaster is the icon ride at Carowinds. As kids we rode this ride, now our kids love it. Will our grandchildren not get to experience this piece of history? Tearing down Thunder Toad would be a complete mistake.

Thunder road was always one of my favorite rides. I remember riding on it backwards with my dad and when the tide was going up the hill to start the ride I remember my dads sunglasses flying out of his pocket. He caught his sunglasses thankfully. I remember another time being on thunder road forward and when the ride started to take off my boyfriend at the time hat had blown off and I couldn't stop laughing. I have such good memories from that tide and I would hate for it to be replaced.
