I believe this was my first coaster at Carowinds. Why should it not be the first for my kids?

This is an injustice to the park and to the legion of fans that got their feet wet on Thunder Road. This roller coaster should be there until the park closes for good..if this coaster is retired we will never go back..

Carowinds, this is a huge mistake. Thunder road is iconic and a family favorite. Visitors of all ages enjoy this. Don't take it away. In years to come, you will regret taking away this classic coaster.

Save and restore the coaster! Not everything needs to be newer and faster. First and most enjoyable roller coaster I ever rode.

This would be a big, BIG mistake! Major, MAJOR protest! Please reconsider the idea of doing away with a historical landmark. Thunder Road DEFINES Carowinds. It's what draws people to Charlotte, NC. It'means too much to just let go of and pass off as antiquated. If anything in Charlotte needs to be torn down it's that eyesore of a hotel from the eighties theme park at Heritage USA. It stands with no rhyme or reason to even exist any longer. Please keep Thunder Road!

I have always loved Thunder Road. I can not believe they are trying to take it away! Please keep this coaster it's one of the best in the park! I was a yearly visitor and came several times a year and rode this coaster several times each time I went and I still love it.

Don't take Thunder Road...this ride is iconic to Carowinds. The one they should renovate is The Hurler. This ride came out in the early 90s, and was named in part due to the movie "Wayne's World". The movie is no longer relevant, nor is the ride. Thunder Road, Carolina Cyclone, Carolina Gold Rush is the ones that need to be kept due to how long they have been around. They take this ride, i am done with Carowinds.
