this is a great piece of "Americana" and should be saved and utilized for entertainment. Do different things with it...actually RACE the cars or something, but don't destroy it!

Wooden coasters are the best Just what we need, more steel so it can get higher. Then shut off on the way up. Unless maybe their going to replace it with a replica of the BEAST

Do not think they should get rid of it !! It's an iconic ride ..... when you hear the word Carowinds... one of the first rides you think of is "Thunder Road" !!

This is not the tallest, the fastest or the best roller coaster around but it is a symbol of North and South Carolina when it comes to Amusement Park rides.

Thunder Road is classic Carowinds. Getting rid of it would be like Disney World getting rid of "it's a small world." Don't do it! Bad decision.
