This was the first rollercoaster I ever rode on when I was like 10. Getting rid of this coaster isnt a good move. Hopefully this petition full of signatures will help to make them realize this!

Please save Thunder Road! I love that coaster. It was the first I ever rode and I ride it every time I come to Carowinds. Demolishing it would be like tearing the heart out of the park! Please re-think your decision.

Why? Why tear it down? Carowinds is turning into a park made only for bigger kids. This ride was one for even younger kids to ride. It is a fun ride, a lot of people love it, so why not listen to the people? Why tear it down so soon? To make more money than you already do? Seriously...consider the feelings of your customers. I am very angry and dissapointed. I will not be bringing my future kids to this modernized park. The Fury has broken down more times than it should have, all because you want everything to be bigger and better. Shame on you.

I will forever love this ride! It was one of my favorites when I was a kid and still is today! I always ride it when I go to the park.

Thunder Road is a cherished childhood memory of mine. My kids are just now, this year, experiencing the joy of Thunder Road. They can't ride the larger coasters yet. Please don't take this away.
