Apex Broadcasting agreed to revert the programming format to the original station identity starting next week. I am currently coordinating with their management to ensure the transition remains consistent with our stated goals. Thank you for maintaining the pressure that forced this correction.

This petition is directed to the owners of Apex Broadcasting in response to programing and format changes. You have taken a unique Charleston icon and turned it in to yet another generic radio station that clutters the airwaves. We respectfully ask that you reconsider your decision and return 96.1 WAVF "The Wave" to it's former glory and character.

Updates

The current level of engagement has prompted a formal request for a meeting with the station management at Apex Broadcasting. I am currently drafting a letter outlining the specific demands regarding the return of the original programming format.

The only station I listened to on my commute. Everything else is just the same top 40 garbage played to death. Bring it back.

WAVF was the heart of charleston radio. Now it sounds like every other corporate station in the country. SAD.
