This issue is concering a large Maple tree located in front of 244 N 1st St., Rogers City, MI. The City of Rogers City is planning to cutting down one of the largest, if not the largest, tree in our community. It is a beautiful piece of natural artwork that we have been blessed with. Many tourist that have come to Rogers City have commented on the beauty of this tree as they take their walks from the Boat Harbor to downtown Rogers City. This tree has been in our community for centuries. It has been here, in front of my family's home, for generations. The loss of any tree is saddening, but the loss of this specific tree would be a travesty. Please sign this petition and help save our tree.
