How can we let a whole species just go extinct like that. We gotta protect their habitat before it is too late.
Keep them safe. People suck for destroying where they live.
Watched rio with my niece last week and had no idea they were basically gone in the wild. This is so upsetting.
THEY ARE SO BEAUTIFUL. Please dont let them be lost to history. My heart breaks for these little guys.
Cant believe only a handful are left. We have to do better at conservation, stop the greed and save the birds.
We cant keep exploiting the rainforest . All the birds and mamals that thrive in there its their home. And they deserve to live in it without fear and destruction . Im an animator . And when i heard what happened to the very bird that inspired the movie rio . It broke my heart . As animator we depend on not just the human world but the natural world to inspire us and that goes for all kinds of creative fields . If the natural world suffers than the creative world suffers as well . And frankly i hope all the animator concept artists and directors of rio in blue sky studios get to read this because they should be supporting this cause 100 percent. If and anything they owe it to the bird who inspired them to create blue the macaw . Dont let them dissapear blue sky . Help us fight for their right to exist

My kids love the movie Rio. It would be so sad if these birds just disappeared from the earth forever.
