Save the Sea Star!!! My family and I love the Sea Star and all the crew! Captain Joe has taught my family and myself a lot of very informative information about being at sea and the ocean as well. We enjoying being in Oceanside with the Sea Star and would miss it of it were not there. So please save the Sea Star!!!!

Keep the Sea Star in Oceanside Harbor. Captain Joe does a great job with the kids trips teaching about respecting our ocean.
If the Sea Star leaves the Oceanside harbor I will not support this landing in any way

What he contributes to the varied organization and especialy the children of this area is tremendous .

Captain Joe has been doing a great service to all Sportfishermen for over 30 years & has kept his part of the contract signed with Helgren's. Justice needs to be done. Keep Captain Joe at Oceanside Harbor. Helgren is only wanting more money,an honorable person would honor the contract. We need more Captains like Captain Joe.

I have fished on the Sea Star for twenty plus years and Joe and his crew are the reason we come to Oceanside. For some of us Dana Point or San Diego would be closer but Captain Joe and his experience is unmatched. If the Sea Star leaves Ocean Side so do we.

There is clearly some historical precedent for the Sea Star in Oceanside, and no one should have a monopoly in operating out of a public facility.

Oceanside Harbor needs to have more than 1 charter service. Helgrens is not entitled to a monopoly.

The SeaStar has been a community fixture since I moved to Oceanside in 1982 and has been a valued member of the community and the sportfishing industry.
