Preservation of green space and access to trails is of utmost importance on this unique island.
I've had a cabin on Savary for 10+ years and the thought of losing this part of the island is heart-breaking. The island's wildlife lacks space to thrive as it is, the loss of this would have very negative affects on the islands wildlife.
There are so few lovely places for people and animals we must save this for future generations
We heartily support the efforts of SILTS in the ongoing effort to preserve and protect the natural beauty that remains on Savary Island.
The monetary value of the land must be compared with the non- monetary value generated by the trails to the hundreds of people who visit this unique island. Please value it's uniqueness, it's the main reason people visit.
Save DL 1375!
The thought of losing any amount of this beautiful island is heartbreaking and should never be allowed.

As a new cottage and land owner, we fully support this initiative and will look forward to helping the cause where we can.
