I love the turtles and salamander and birds. Save the trail in my backyard where these creatures call home. Even the coyotes say Save It!

Runners rely on this natural trail for their training. Construction time and paving the trail will prevent middle, high school, and recreational runners from this resource that they depend on and use very regularly!

I use this trail monthly, walking. Snowshoeing or biking. Paving will take away from the trail

Living on Monsen Rd. (entrance to Great Meadows and The Reformatory Trail) I use this gorgeous trail almost every day. Most of my neighbors also use it very frequently. No one I've spoken to wants it paved.

Bicyclists already travel the trail at top speed, so I don't see how paving could be a gain for them. If anything, speed reduction strategies are necessary for walker safety. And paving would undermine that "walk in the woods" feeling of the trail, and be at odds with the adjacent Great Meadows Wildlife Refuge objectives of providing wildlife habitat.
