Johnny's show kept me company for many years while I drove from Emporia to Ottawa every morning! What he has done to help others, especially at Christmas, is something KC should never let go!!!

I don't listen to the morning show on a regular basics... however I do associated Johnny Dare with the 98.9 Rock. He isn't just a another radio personality who can be replace with the mentally of out with the old in with the new..... HE IS THE HEART OF KANSAS CITY ROCK RADIO!! His raw call it like you see personality along with his compassion for the kids and our vets.... Is bar none a class act. When he's ready to drop the mic and ride out.... let him turn the show over to his choice! Until then... it's The JOHNNY DARE Morning Show.

I personally feel it would be a bad move to let him go. He is the face of 98.9. Hubby and I love listening to his show every morning. He loves KC and his listeners/fans. Many many people will be very upset and may even cause more problems then you think. I say " Keep Johnny

If Johnny Dare gets cancelled, I won't be listening to 989 because I will be listening to whatever station picks him up. Be it satellite radio or just some other station.

He's practically the beating heart of this city! Seriously, he's done more for KS/MO then our governors.
