The JD Morning show is one of the Only reasons I listen to the Station. I'm a metal head and onthe than an hour of The Pit the only time I listen is when Jonny is on. No Jonny No reason to tune to the station.

Johnny Dare and the morning show are important to KC. I've been listening since I was a kid, and even attended the events hosted by the Morning Show. One year at Worlds of Fun, I rode the Detonator next to Johnny. At the top of the ride, there was a jolt and I bit my lip. He made the operator stop the ride and got me through the crowd to my mom. He even stopped to be sure I was okay, and kissed the top of my head to make me feel better. I was about 7, and this memory of his kindness has always stuck with me. Not renewing his contract would be a serious strike for Entercomm in Kansas City. Johnny's good people and we like him.

I love Johnny Dare !! I cannot or would I want to imagine 98.9 The Rock without him. He has done so much for Kansas City and The Rock would not be the same. I love the morning show!! It makes me spit coffee through my nose from laughing so hard. It also makes me cry when it is the holiday season and Kansas City is sharing with others in Kansas City that are less fortunate . Keep it real, keep Johnny Dare !!!!

The Morning Show is a great show. You have announcers with great personalities. If the morning show goes I will find another station to listen too.
