WE WON AND THE BOARD HAS OFFICIALLY COMMENCED THEIR INVESTIGATION INTO THE THEATRE MANAGEMENT!! THIS IS AN INCREDIBLE VICTORY FOR OUR ENTIRE COMMUNITY AND I AM BEYOND GRATEFUL TO EVERY SINGLE PERSON WHO BACKED THIS FIGHT!! LET US STAY VIGILANT WHILE THE PROCESS UNFOLDS TO ENSURE OUR BELOVED THEATRE GETS …
With Kathy Chittum as Executive Director of the Grandin Theatre, the
theater is in a physical and financial decline due to mismanagement and
is not fulfilling its promise to the community. This petition is to
request that the Grandin Theatre Foundation's full Board of Directors
investigate the allegations of mismanagement and unethical behavior of
the theatre's executive director, Kathy Chittum. We request the full
board of directors interview past and present employees/board members,
local business owners, advertisers and partners of the theatre and
foundation in order to create a fair and balanced assessment of Mrs.
Chittum's performance and behavior as the Executive Director.
The Grandin is a staple of this neighborhood. Seeing it go downhill like this is just heartbreaking. Please get someone in there who actually cares about the history of the place.

Finally someone is speaking up. It is about time the board does their job and looks into what is going on behind the scenes there.

I worked there back in the day and it is sad to see what it has become under her watch. Hope the board actually listens for once.

Fix this now. The community deserves better than what we are seeing right now.

My family has gone to the Grandin for years. We want to keep supporting it but it’s real hard when the management is so bad.
