I received word today that the beavers will be allowed to remain in their homes. This outcome belongs entirely to you because I truly never thought so many people would care about these animals. Please keep watching the riverbanks to ensure they stay safe.
Scottish Natural Heritage have announced their intention to trap and remove the free-living European beavers of the Tay and its tributaries. We the undersigned strongly oppose this action for the following reasons:
* Animal welfare (removal of adults threatens juveniles with death by starvation or cold). * Lost study opportunity (beavers coexist with farmers, fishermen and foresters etc.) * Lost opportunity for habitat improvement by beavers.
Beavers were created by GOD to play an integrative part in their respective ecosystems. Please try to find humane population control measures, if possible.

Ridiculous decision. Leave these animals alone theyve been doing just fine on their own for years.
