Why would you fire the best teachers pvhs has to offer? Band and Theater is the only reason some kids come to school. Bearden and Triola support us in everything we do(unlike other teachers) Bearden and triola are the best things that have ever happened to pvhs. We've already gone through this once when we lost Caldwell. Why would you put us through this again? We've already gone through the hurt before. No one could ever replace Bearden and Triola. They have rebuilt our fine arts department. They give us a reason to want to come to school. They love us and we love them. We won't settle for another replacements. They're part of the Pvhs family.. DONT TAKE THEM AWAY! Pvhs will never be the same

Our athletics program has been experiencing this for years. Yes, it has been stated that Turner only cares for athletics which I believed at a point as well... until he fired, one of the best coaches we've had in a long time, without explaining his purpose to the people it actually affected, from her coaching position. In the four years that I've been going to Pinson, the girls basketball team has had 3 different coaches and are currently getting a new one. Imagine having a college recruiter consider recruiting you but when he/she asks your coach for an evaluation, they can't even give a proper one because they still struggle with the simple task of remembering your name. From one perspective I want to tell the Fine Arts and Spanish department to stop whining and deal with it like we've had to for years yet on the other hand I know something has to be done about this. We have been silently grieving for each one of our lost coaches for years, it feels good to actually step up and fight for someone who has had as deep of an affect on others as our coaches have had on us.

I never knew these teachers personally, but it pains me to see this happening to innocent educators. I hope this gets resolved.

I can see that Mr. Triola means a lot to the kids at PVHS. Teens need a positive role model and someone they can trust. This should not be taken away from them without great cause.

Traditionally, what made PVHS stand out the most was its fine arts department. Currently, with its great guidance, the students alone have been able to excel in amazing accomplishments. Without these people, this department's progression of success would never have made it to this point by now.

Fine arts are just as important as core curriculum. Not everyone can be a math wiz and certainly not everyone can be gifted in the fine arts.

Huge mistake that I am not sure isn't tenure motivated. Your school is better with these teachers. Either you know that and don't care, or you're ignorant to quality.
