As a band student I've grown a great liking for Mr.Bearden, he's a great guy and should not be let go. I and many others have been looking forward to being taught by him and have a great time for the next 4 years to come. I'm sure choir and theatre kids feel the same way for Mrs. Timothy and Mr. Triola. #savepvhsfinearts

Fine arts is a vital part of human life. This would be a grave mistake.

Dear Pinson Staff and Jeff Co School Board members: My granddaughter joined Pinson Valley's Drama Department this year as a Sophomore. She fell in love with it and has a renewed interest in doing well in school that I have not seen from her in years. If you doubt me check what a difference it has made in her overall grades her name is Shayla Startley. Please don't reinforce her previous school disappointments. Please, as a life long citizen of Jefferson County I implore you to save the PVHS Fine Arts program. Sincerely, William Blackman, Jr

Mr.triola and Mr.bearden have always been there for us when we had personal problems such as deaths in the family and hard times they always have us advice about life and made us better human beings and it is unjust to fire two of the best teachers I have ever known who take money out of there own pockets to improve there departments

Triola and Bearden are two of Pinson Valley HS's best assets, and TRULY care about our youth and their education and providing them with everything needed to succeed in today's world, which includes FINE ARTS. They need to stay!!

Children should experience all forms of education. Fine Arts are important to teach so that children today can experience and learn how to express themselves in a positive manner other than sports.

Mr. Bearden is a great band director. He has a passion for his job as well as his students. The students love him from Pinson as well as Rudd Middle. BRING HIM BACK!!!!!

This is absolute nonsense!! No school should EVER be without a Fine Arts Dept.!! I personally know Adam Bearden, and he has done so much for the band program the last two years! Please reinstate our Fine Arts teachers ASAP!!

The fine arts are necessary in public schools!!! They provide a place for expression of creativity and acceptance where they may otherwise not be obtained without them!!

Im not in RMS band and I don't know Mr. Breadon very well but I will stand up for someone who everyone loves. PVHS would never be the same! I do know Mrs. Timmothy though and she is amazing. She gives so much to the people she works with.
