Mr. Bearden is one of the best things that has ever happened to the high school and their Fine Arts Center. He has made our band amazing and has made an amazing impact on everyone he's met. You have absolutely NO reason to fire him. You're making a big mistake doing this.

Art is a defining factor in any student's life. Whether it's music or theatre or painting. Without art we are without an outlet to express ourselves. It should be a crime to take that away from someone.

These two teachers are beloved by their students. Mr. Beardon specifically has had a huge impact on the students in both the Marching Band and concert band.
A great example of the progress was on display at a concert last week where he unvailed plans for next year to expand the band classes due to the overwhelming growth the past two years. The fine arts programs in school are as important as reading,writing, and arithmetic . In most cases these teachers have an even greater positive impact on the students future and successes in life, this was definitely the case for me.

1. Sarah did not get fire 2.the other teachers are sweet hearts ,funny and nice and all this year's now y'all want to fire them what's up with people and fine arts If don't know if y'all didn't know fine arts it's a hold lot then making things ,singing or playing instruments etc it's about family they was kinda of our family SO IF YOU DONT KNOW NOW YOU KNOW !✌✌

I'm an alumni of Pinson Valley High School and it is a sad day when a Jefferson County school lets their fine art teachers and departments go. This is a bad decision all around.
