My parents George & Bonnie Hase helped Jr. & Gerry manage the Cobblestone in the late '70's - early '80's. I worked at the Cob from the time I could clear a table. There are too many memories in this place for too many people to see it destroyed. There is no other place around like it. It could be an amazing place again, creating all new memories for new generations.

The Cobblestone is where my parents met back in 1953. They married in 1954 and had 58 wonderful years together. I'm sure their story is only one of hundreds like it. The Cobblestone is such a landmark of local history and has such important memories for people!

I have such great memories of going to the Cobblestone, both for birthday dinners and to teen dances. We now live in Clear Lake, Iowa and the Surf Ballroom has been saved and preserved. It is such a treasure for our community.

The Cobblestone is a huge part of the history of Storm Lake, and it would be wonderful if it could be preserved, and brought alive again! Loved those "Rumbles"!!
