Redevelop The City Ground - Nottingham Forest
We the undersigned call for the redevelopment of The City Ground, Nottingham - home of Nottingham Forest Football Club which was founded in 1865. The City Ground, situated on the banks of the River Trent is the home of the Garibaldi Reds and has been since 1898. It is one of the most iconic venues in world football. We protest at the building of a new stadium to house our beloved Reds and call for the key areas of the Ground to be rebuilt for a future that all Nottingham Forest fans can be proud of. We do not want a new stadium that is: a) On an inferior site or location to the existing one on the banks of the Trent. b) Souless. c) Built for one short-lived tournament but have to be endured by Forest fans in the long term future. d) Suffers short-sighted planning for short-sighted gains. e) Not The City Ground. We hope that the Nottingham City Council will recognise our voice! You Reds!
