We, the undersigned, demand the repeal of Rhode Island’s Reproductive Privacy Act because it allows the grotesque killing of viable babies for which there is no medical reason to perform an abortion. This law ignores scientific fact and preys on vulnerable women facing dire circumstances for which there are many solutions besides abortion.
We, the undersigned, also demand that the Rhode Island lawmakers respect and uphold our constitutional right to freedom of religion so no law will allow taxpayer funding of abortion.

Seeing this momentum grow has been deeply moving because it shows how many people recognize the moral gravity of what is happening in our state. These signatures are a powerful testament to our collective commitment to protecting life and ensuring taxpayer dollars are not used to fund these procedures.

God is the author of life and we have no right to destroy it. Protect the babies.
This evil, egregious bill was pushed through without any regard for the large, prolife presence of many Rhode Islanders who prayed and fought against it.
Babies can feel pain and they deserve a chance to live. Stop this disgusting law before more lives are lost.
RI is going down a dark path. Repeal this now.
My tax dollars should never go to pay for ending a childs life. This is totally wrong.
