The city finally reversed their decision and the 101 bus route is safe. My neighbors and I will still have our reliable commute downtown because you all refused to let this lifeline disappear. We won this fight for our community.

Final supporters
With the introduction of the new West LRT, Calgary Transit is planning on discontinuing the 101 Bus Route in March 2013. The 101 serves a different purpose than the C-Train, and only intersects with the C-Train in 2 spots. Many commuters in Coach Hill/Patterson, Wildwood and other communities along Bow Trail will be affected by the inconvenience and longer commute times.
We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens who urge the City of Calgary to keep our linkto downtown by continuing to run the 101 Bus Route after the 2013 start-up of the West LRT.

The train doesnt go near my work at all. Taking the 101 saves me so much time in the morning. Please dont kill this route
Bad idea city hall. Listen to the people who actually use transit.
What about the people who cant walk to the train station in the snow? Not everyone is able bodied. Keep the bus.
Commutes are long enough already. Making us transfer just adds more headache.
I rely on this bus everyday to get to my shift downtown. The lrt is fine for some but not for everyone. Do not cancel the 101!!!

Ridiculous. They keep cutting service in the west end and expect us to just deal with it. Keep the 101 running!
