There must be suitable land for the puppies that doesn't destroy a historic disc golf course like Swope Park. Please find some, or provide Parks and Recreation and the KCFDC with land suitable for a replacement of similar quality.
I am all for a new pet shelter but this is a world class disc golf course that is used everyday by Many people. These people should have been consulted about the plans to remove the entire course .

As a deaf person, disc golf is a great equalizer. Disability knows no limit on the Swope disc golf course.

Love this course and play it often. Please find a different spot within the multitude of acreage within Swope park!

All the vacant land this city has at its disposal and you feel the need to destroy a park is shameful.

It's wrong to take away this to change direction on the shelter...figure some other way! Leave this green space alone!

A great city course. Hate to see it go. Surprised that they couldn't find a way to keep the course and also find room for that shelter. Hate to see this go.

I've been playing this course since it was installed in 1981. This should be a historical landmark, and be allowed to coexist with other facilities. Thank you. ©D
