I spent the entire morning staring at the fence line and wondering how anyone could look at those trees and see anything other than a disaster if they are removed. I have been fielding emails from neighbors who are just as confused as I am about why this design is even being considered but the silence from the park authority is honestly getting louder by the day.

Ridiculous to destroy mature trees like that. Find another way to connect the trail. Use your heads.
Those trees have been there forever. Stop cutting down our history for another pointless trail.
Design something else that works around the trees. It is not that hard if you actually care about the neighborhood
please save them!! sugar house park wont be the same without that shade.
63 trees is not a small number. absolutely insane that this is even a debate. leave them alone.

We already lost enough green space in this city. dont ruin the park.
