This area is totally unsuitable for housing, the land is anything but flat and Stafford Avenue is a very, very busy road already that could not cope with any more traffic. Mornings and afternoons it is extremely difficult to exit our driveway. Additional traffic caused by construction and additional homes would make the road almost impossible to drive up and down. In addition, the public green space on Stafford Avenue is a much used public space.

we chose this area for the greenland within walking distance.saves the chilren playing on the streets reducing accidents on the surrounding roads.we moved from estate living and paid the price to appreciate the tree lined streets and the local parks.our children play and we also walk the dog over on the park plus its a haven for local wildlife esp the birds robins finches blackiies tits etc etc

so lucky in clayton to have such a wonderful open space. irreplaceable.

It is unacceptable that this land would be used for any type of construction, we should be embracing our green open spaces not encroaching and destroying them.

I have just moved out of one sh**t hole in Stoke on trent and paid a high premium to move into a mature area with open fields nearby. I use the park to excericse mmy dog and watch the wildlife and this money gradding council don't care about their residents. This is not an area suitable for a housing estate. Not impressed. Whj dont the council put up the council tax instead of destroying prime locations with needless developements.
