Terrible idea to close a perfectly functional pool.. When there are not many in the city already! Children need to learn to swim!

Two of my children learnt to swim in this pool, it is a fantastic resource for the school and community and shouldn't be lost.

This is most upsetting as myself I did learn to swim in this pool..also my children and grandchildren attended the school and learnt to swim so we really do need strong support to save it being closed...it is most needed as we All live near the sea and it really so important to have a swimming pool to learn....

DO NOT shut this school's pool. You should be opening up more school pools instead.

My mum, Beryl, was a voluntary swim coach at Springfield. I learnt to swim there. Now I am a voluntary coach at my community pool in NZ. Communities need pools and children need to be taught to swim.

Please keep this pool open - there simply isn't another one near us.

Every child should have access to a school swimming pool. It an essential skill to learn.

Everyone should have access to a pool. There aren't enough pools (particularly school pools) in the country, so we need to keep the ones we have.
