We request that Brookshire Elementary be removed from consideration to be closed. -Orange County values the importance of high performing schools. Brookshire is designated as an "A" school by the state and also a "State of Florida 5 Star School". -As Brookshire's location is not on a main road in Winter Park, the zoning options and sale potential of the property could be limited. Brookshire Elementary plays a vital role in the state's, county's and neighborhood's commitment to a high quality education. The children deserve the best and that is what Brookshire is!
