We, the undersigned residents of Monroe, oppose the Island in Round Lake, tax map parcel # 7-1-53, being declared an Open Development Area (ODA). We feel this would be an improper classification of the property which would allow John Sorrentino to pursue building a home and heliport on the island as well as a bridge from the mainland. Therefore, we urge the Town Board of the Town of Monroe to forgo granting Mr. Sorrentino's request.
