Please scroll down and complete the sections below to add your name to this petition
The Town Hall belongs to the Residents of Ripley Parish.
It belonged to Ripley urban District council which was the parish of Ripley.
In 1974 Amber Valley District Council was formed that was the whole of Amber valley.
It became a Borough because it was said it would attract business.
Do not let the short sighted AVBC sell the Town Hall, it Is Ripley's Heritage
Our ancestors paid there rates for it that is why it belongs to the parish of Ripley.
Once it is sold it will be lost forever
Ripley's Town Hall was built in 1880 as a solid statement of Ripley's pride in its independence - Let's show some of that pride & independence again in saying NO! to selling this important part of our Town's heritage
