Having viewed the map supplied to us by the council, they are trying to sell land that does not belong to them, cut off access to an electrical sub station and cut off public right of way, all of which they cannot legally do.

it is disgraceful that with all the brown fields sites around the city that you think it appropriate to use green space. Please leave it alone. city

Public parks and green spaces are an easy target for budget cuts by councils. I work in the horticultura/amenity sector and see what is happening in the press week after week. Don't let this happen to your local area for the health of your children. Selling a piece of land to a local builder is a quick fix, you will never get it back again. Better that Stoke gets its finances in order

I cannot consider voting for LAbour if it does not keep it's hands off our greenspaces. There is a perfectly good development site next to the greenway where a boarded up club now sits. Develop that!
