Don't take the land for more residential growth. I already miss seeing the cows roaming over the corner of Oxnard and Desoto. Now you want the rest of the land. No way.

The warner center area is getting overcrowded already we need more open space and should maintain the ag opportunities the college was know for.

This college was founded on the ag unit! People have been trying to denounce that side of the campus for more than 20 yrs!! I got my start there in vet med and so did many others that take care of your pets locally! Leave the last of the acrage alone you money hungry you know whats! It is a learning, sancuarity, and fire animal holding facility!!!! First and fore most that campus is there because of the ag dpt!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shame the revolving door of administrators at Pierce are cutting this viable program and raising their own paychecks at the same time. Truly shameful.

This program is vital to our community. It is successful and closing it only causes harm to the very people it was created to help. Farming is important to our world and learning this craft is impossible without such programs. You are the only place to provide this educational opportunity in Southern California - please don't take it away.

Keep the open space!! We have enough vacant apartment high rises and open houses for rent. Stop the development and keep the tradition of animal husbandry education at Pierce.

It's hard to understand how the Trustees are trying once again to destroy this important program. Just a few years ago, there was a community fight to keep the farm. The compromise was that some of the land was sold for apartment development, and the rest was preserved for this valuable program. Do we really need to fight this one again?

The farm and program should be a historical landmark. I attended Pierce for several years before transferring to university and the farm was always a bright spot. Its such an integral and charming place for so many. The San Fernando Valley will not be the same without it. Not to mention the many students who study agriculture and the only two year American Veterinary Medical Association accredited agriculture program in Southern California. Please do not end this program.

The farm has served many schools as an opportunity for children to take a closer look at farm animals, and it's a shame that we will not have a close and familiar farm close by. We must preserve and cherish what little farm space we have in the Valley, not turn it into high-end over priced apt.

I worked here about five years ago and am sad to hear that it may soon be closing down....
This is a patch of land that not only hosts a harvest festival, christmas tree lot, etc, but also hearkens back t an earlier time in history. A time when the San Fernando valley was overwhelmingly rural, agricultural, open land with little urban space.
A lot has changed since then, but only because we have allowed it.

I drive from north Santa Clarita to this farm; I would be very disappointed to see it go. Not only does it serve the community, but it is critical for students of agricultural and veterinary sciences to learn in a working farm environment.
