Seaport Museum New York (formerly South Street Seaport Museum) is in danger of closing permanently and of failing in its mission to preserve and present the maritime history of New York and its waterfront.

The Museum’s collections, environs, and historic ships must be protected. We urge that they once again be made available to the public in New York City, under new leadership and with a new commitment to the Museum’s original mission.
