If you close the toilets people will urinate and defaecate at the sides of roads,in the bushes and wherever

I have a bladder condition that means I need the toilet every half hour or so - sometimes even more frequently. We stopped at these toilets over the weekend only to find they were closed (even though a list dated 2013 we had downloaded from the council website said they were open). I don't know what they expect people to do. There should be far more public toilets available.

Ridiculous decision. 75000 people and no loo? The council needs to get a grip and sort this out before the roadsides are ruined.

My elderly mum cant travel anywhere if she doesnt know where the next toilet is. These closures are cruel and make the highlands inaccessible.

Total disgrace. Tourists will just stop coming if they cant find basic facilities. Short sighted cuts as usual.
Do you want a dirty UK like France ?
Absolutely agree!
An essential amenity
