We share a site with Sandwich Junior School. The school has fenced off its play areas which we used for many years when the school was closed for the evening and in the school holidays. We are now confined to two muddy patches of ground and have no suitable play area or play equipment for our children. 64 families use our facility on a daily basis but closure is imminent as we have now no suitable play space for our children (many of whom attend Sandwich Junior School). The school has 8 acres of playspace. In addition, the school wants to stop us using their car park to pick up and drop our children who come in from 8 local schools. Pick and drop is dangerous on the roadside and not always possible given the volume of traffic. Please support our case for reinstating our playspace and safeguarding our children.

The momentum is undeniable now. Seeing this much support gives us the strength to keep pushing for our children.

My son goes there and he loves it. Why punish the kids because of some silly school policy? Keep it open!

This is ridiculous. 8 acres of space and they cant share a bit of it with the kids after hours? My daughter loves that place.

Total madness. Think of the parents who rely on this for childcare. Where are they supposed to go now?

Ridiculous decision. Kids need the space to run around not just a tiny patch of mud. Really unfair.

The traffic on that road is already a nightmare. If they close the car park someone is going to get hit. Fix it.

Disgraceful. These kids belong to the same community but they get treated like outsiders. Leave the play area alone.
