$5 million a year to the new football coach. I know the departments aren't connected, but I would expect UT to understand the importance of a museum. Maybe not.

As a former UT component attorney, I've seen cuts. This one, though, should not happen. It's not much money in the grand scheme of things, and free is awfully hard to come by for many families seeking to educate and entertain their kids.

This museum provided many fun, free, learning summer days when my kids were growing up!

I love this museum and would prefer an increase in taxes (OMG! Did I really say that?!) to the closing of this museum. If taxes won't get it, run a fund drive to get the $$! I will obviously contribute!

So many good memories at the Memorial Museum!

We don't know where we're going if we don't where we've been. Cutting funds to museums is the same as cutting funds to edcutation. And I thought the business of the University WAS education. There are many other areas within the budget that was result in the reduced expenditure of funds.

I have spent time at the museum since I was a small child. Just recently I had the opportunity to take my grandson from London. He learned much while checking out the exhibits.
