The traffic will be horrendous if it isn’t already and the wildlife gets destroyed after decades. The land should not go to housing it has always been a lovely green belt area. It’s devastation to destroy something so beautiful.

I am signing this petition as it is disgraceful that that amount of housing is trying to be built on Greenbelt land - never mind what the council says. The amount of wildlife we will loose never mind the congestion of traffic we cannot get appointments at our G.ps , Local schools are full! We have social behaviour/ litter dog mess as it is. We certainly don’t want any more!

They are determined to make our area pure concrete. Killing the wildlife, destroying communities. Green belt should stay green belt. Especially prime farm land, senseless destructive behaviour.

This is a lovely area of Rotherham, with lots of great walks, and wildlife, we do not need any more houses in this area. It will destroy the beauty. Already a congested area.

Bassingthorpe farm does not need to be a housing estate it has been farm land for many many generations been a popular area by all locals to enjoy the scenery and fresh air, greasbrough will not be able to handle any more traffic or drainage from another housing estate as flooding is already an issue

The community can not absorb this amount of new residents.

Looking at the plans speaking to the planners who have never been on site, from traffic problems, drainage problems to the increased risk of flooding. Mining problems, the whole proposal is a joke

This area cannot cope with this extra traffic it is already gridlocked and why should we put up with more overseas visitors when we have an area full. Move them somewhere else!!!!!!

Lack of utility consideration, increase on roads and pollution on roads that are already congested, lack of space consideration for secondary school. No additional medical or dental provision. Sewage and water supplies are already at capacity in the village

Should never build on green land and especially for people who shouldn’t be her

Plenty of places in Rotherham to build without taking away our greenbelt.
