Bryanston Park Preservation Group Save our Crown Meadows Supported by all three major local political parties who see this matter as a non-political issue but of concern to all who live in and around Blandford. To the Chief Executive, Planning Policy Officers and District Councillors at North Dorset District Council We the undersigned petition the Council not to allocate the Crown Meadows, also known as Bryanston Park, for development in the Revised Core Strategy. We the undersigned are totally opposed to the proposed housing development of the Crown Meadows site (SHLAA ref: No. 2/03/0397) because it fails to respect Blandford's iconic setting and would exacerbate the already severe traffic congestion in the one way system.
