What's at stake here is the property being considered for rezoning as commercial which would be devastating to the surrounding homes property values and the residents quality of life. The chapel is privately owned and the owner may do as he wishes with it. We just need the city management to prevent the property from ever being rezoned to anything other than its current residential status. While there are many who have a fond connection with the chapel, there's also many who have much to lose if the property is sold as commercial.

This was my Uncle Mayfords Chapel and him and my Dad also had his time there with my uncle along with many family weddings etc

Have lived here 42 years liked that Goose Creek was a small friendly town. We now have way more crime and the roads in Goose Creek fixing pot holes should be way more important.. than building more stuff and taxes going up

Please do not take away our little chapel. I have been there to pray with my Mother and family in need of comfort. I am sure stake holder Goose Creekers have done the same. The little chapel is about all we have of our original little bed room community.

My husband and I got married there in 2009. The pastor meant this to remain a gift to the area. It should be retained and maintained.
