I love my cell phone, but not at the expense of our community's health, safety, preserving its integrity and protecting its property values.

Rob Clark and the City Staff should have to follow the law. Citizens expect the City of Ojai to preserve the community not sell it to AT&T.

Let's not gamble with our children's health. Scores of independent peer-reviewed medical studies indicate widely unknown health risks from high levels of RF radiation, even though most of these studies have not been acknowledged by the WHO, FCC, and other important regulatory organizations. This is ESPECIALLY a concern in regards to 1) exposure for children, whose developing bodies and brains are much more sensitive, and 2) chronic, long-term, INVOLUNTARY close exposure of unknown magnitude, such as generated by a cell phone tower/base station. What's more, the U.S. (and Canada) adopted standards for "safe" exposure to RF radiation are 60+ times(!) higher than any other country in the world. Even though there is no evidence to support those levels are safe. On the contrary, independent studies show that U.S. public standards for cell-tower radiation are 1000-10,000 times higher than levels which produce adverse bioeffects. Two studies indicated severe health hazards for chronic exposure to cell towers at distances of 1,000 feet... And we're thinking about putting one of these 40' away from a school yard? Everyone involved should understand the risks and implications before making this important decision. The City Planning Commission needs to do their job and enforce the City Code. Keep towers out of residential neighborhoods. Attend the meeting tonight but also on February 19.

In addition to health concerns, there are aesthetic problems especially when it's next to your house. Find a less conspicuous area.

Cell towers are dangerous. They exist and proliferate because of indiscriminative, unnecessary use of cell phones. Stopping the tower is important. Even more important is saying no to wireless technology except when it is needed for an urgent reason.

Aren't they supposed to tell the community what they would like to do? That's right, our power company on the big island doesn't do that either.

The location of this tower is too close to children and members of our community. Please find an alternate location.

In no way should AT&T push this though. The people of Ojai clearly are saying NO!!!
