Sites like muse wiki have literally allowed me to find out different products to buy for my collection that I wouldn't have otherwise known about. Around £700 of my money went into Warner Bros' pockets directly thanks to muse wiki

I log daily to check gigs and search them on youtube fan vids..
i'ts a shame that these idiots want to do that which will hurt the band before anyone..

I love the riffs page, looking at the entire history of gigs and all the wonderful things that make Muse special to me and I look here every day. Clearly, this is a site for fans created by the fans- these wars can be won! Do you want them to go on and on and on?

It shouldn't be forbidden to publish lyrics of songs (especially if most of them are picked out by listening to them) and self-written musical scores.

While I understand that copyright law is an important thing that Warner Bros. has full power to exercise, I say that these fan sites are to Warner Bros.'s advantage. By not undercutting the company's sales or redistributing its content whatsoever but instead creating more engaged fans, Warner Bros. benefits from sites like MuseWiki, etc. as a sort of advertising for the band.

I am personally and deeply offended by this abuse of copyright privileges. By banning anything related to Muse, you are ensuring your own corporate downfall. It is very ironic that a band with anti-capitalist lyrics like Muse would fall prey to the scum of capitalism.

I understand publishers/corporations desire to enforce copyrights on people copying and distributing materials like movies and music, but for them to start taking aggressive action against simple fan sites established to promote and declare their love for a band or such is just crazy.
What's next, will they be declaring that it's a copyright infringement to mention a copyrighted name without purchasing the rights to mention it out loud?
If they were to succeed at this, then who knows where they'll go next, imagine an internet with no fan sites and fan communities left because they shut them all down.
