I hope this petition helps those in charge to recognise the importance of the school's support staff. Good luck!

Support staff are essential in helping the kids and teachers. And what about all the kids on SEN support? With additional needs who heavily rely on these staff? SOS save the support staff at moulsecoomb school!

Funding for schools should never be cut, this is the bases for all our children's lives. This is a very short sited approach and the affects of these cuts will have a huge impact in the years to come. More money into our Primary schools and less on student accommodation in our city please!

How do they expect to meet the needs of children at the school? they are already struggling to meet these with the current staffing levels. Especially those with complex needs. It's a disgrace....

A friend of mine goes to Moulsecombe primary school he is Autistic and needs extra support.Getting rid of his support will be detrimental to him.We are a rich country we dont need to make these cuts.

My mum has wielded at that school for over 20 years and this is the second time she has to reapply for her own job in the last few years. This is rediculous. Stop selling the local houses for uni students and let the families back in. And stop the stupid cuts to education

Education is crucial for development and to attack the vital support given by support staff at the school in an area that falls within the top 10% for deprivation nationally is appauling.

It sounds very unfair that an already struggling area has lost it's community centre and now it's schools are losing such an obviously valuable resource!

Absolute disgrace on how staff are treated, both Teachers & Teaching Assistants play a vital role in the development of children, especially in this day and age when there are more complex issues they have to deal with.

I don't know where you get this from. The head is very supportive and will be trying his best not to go down that route , every school in Brighton and Hove is feeling the same pain but it's not all in the press. So before you start slagging the head of , come into the school and see what he has done for the school , how polite and well mannered the children are, how well the children are learning and have come on since he has took over. He is a brilliant head and a great supportive man to his staff, the staff all understand the situation and do not blame the head in the slightest!

This ongoing squeeze on services by the government and privatisation is immoral.

We need these kinds of jobs and it's so wrong that the government think it's okay to keep making cuts like these to our schools. Every child should have an education .. We say it about poorer countries but we seem to be losing it here! With no real reasoning at all. This is not a poor country so why are the children suffering the cuts

We all need schools such as this where all kids get to have a chance in education and this needs staff in place to do so....
