Inadequate funding forcing awful choices. How can the school stay out of special measures without the funding and staff to provide adequate support and care for the pupils.

Impossible decisions forced by inadequate education funding from national government. Massive support to all at the school.

My mum was a TA at this school and it is a very valuable job for all the children in this community

Compulsory redundancy is terrible in any sector, and cuts in education is especially idiotic. The government should be pumping more money into schools not obliterating it. Use a bit of common sense and give the children a chance.

Worked at the school for many years. It is a great place to work full of very dedicated staff who really care about the children. I wish you well in your fight for what is right.

MPS is doing a great job in a very deprived area. It needs support

All the pupils of Moulscoomb deserve a quality education and Teaching Assistants are crucial in making this happen.

As a former TA and Teacher I believe the work of support staff and their importance to the success of pupils and a school should not be undervalued.

The support staff at schools are invaluable to both the children and the teachers. Even more so in an area with high levels of deprivation, so I really hope these cuts can be avoided.

Stop the cuts, it's so short sighted for our future generations.

I feel it would be damaging to the children to lose TA, so many children have issues that mean they can not learn in a classroom setting so having TA's is away to allow them to learn. Moulscoomb is a deprived area so the extra support that is offered by a TA is needed

Please sign this petition and add your comments to try to help save some amazing people’s jobs so that they can support children, families and teaching staff at this wonderful school. TAs are part of the fabric that binds the school community together and this lot are exceptional people, running clubs, nurture groups, events as well as supporting learning in the classroom and pastorally caring for the children. It will be so very sad if these amazing people lose their jobs. Moulsecoomb will be losing so much. These cuts are utterly ridiculous and short sighted.
